Linda Purl is known to millions for her impressive acting and singing career.
She has the kind of career actors dream about. Since she began in the 70’s on the daytime drama Secret Storm, Linda has rarely had a period in which she was not working.
She has appeared in films like Crazy Mama, Visiting Hours, Mighty Joe Young, Fear of the Dark and the soon to be released, Paul’s Promise. Linda has appeared on Broadway in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Getting and Spending, off-Broadway in The Baby Dance. With more than 50 television movies to her credit, she is a perennial presence on the small screen. Linda has had recurring roles in Matlock, Murder She Wrote, The Office, Homeland, The Oath and currently Hacks on HBO Max, She has the distinction of having played two different characters on the classic sitcom Happy Days, she played Richie Cunningham’s girlfriend Gloria and later Fonz’s fiancee, Ashley.
Throughout Linda’s busy acting career, she has been equally active with her impressive singing career. With four album’s to her credit, selected songs are included on playlists of jazz stations nationwide and on Siriously Sinatra on Sirious XM.
